Welcome to this month's edition of The Prosperity Press. February has been a month of momentum across Prospera — from sold-out events and international partnerships to new infrastructure taking shape on the ground. Here's what's been happening.
February saw back-to-back events that brought new faces, energy, and opportunities to Prospera.
Hosted with Liberty Ventures, the summit drew entrepreneurs and investors from across the Americas. Several attendees signed up for e-residencies on the spot.
Welcomed 50+ visitors — the most turnout yet — for immersive tours and deep dives into life and business here.
The wellness and fitness event Energize sold all 100 tickets and drew 70 participants despite challenging weather. The next edition is planned for March 7th. Follow @this.is.energize for details.
Greek Feast on March 13th is sold out — a culinary experience you won't want to miss.
And at the beginning of April, JiuJitsu world-champion Cyborg is hosting a tournament in Prospera.
Prospera made national headlines this month with the announcement of its support for nine CTHA students traveling to Germany through an educational exchange program. The initiative reinforced Prospera's commitment to Honduran talent development and exposure to the global community. The community response has been deeply positive.
Enrollment is stable and growing through word-of-mouth. The school is integrating AI into its curriculum — including a student mini-series on practical, responsible uses of artificial intelligence. The team is also exploring AI-driven personalized learning models for mastery-based instruction.
Construction begins this month on a hands-on agricultural learning space. Once complete, it will be open not just to students but to anyone in the community interested in farm-to-table processes.
Prospera's BioHub is moving full speed ahead. The first batch of imported lab equipment is expected to arrive in March, and two new companies are in conversation to conduct clinical trials on-site — both involving high-impact health technologies.
The $40M BioHub campus vision is being actively presented to institutional investors, with potential tenants ranging from a BioBank and clinical imaging operator to a cancer immunotherapy research center. Mark your calendars for the BioHub Demo Day on March 28th, held in conjunction with Infinita, where investors and innovators will come together for a showcase of the life sciences ecosystem.
Separately, a UTH Scientific Conference was successfully held this month in Prospera, deepening the connection between academic research and the jurisdiction's innovation-forward environment.
Construction has officially begun on Prospera's city park — a community green space expected to be completed within two months.
The beloved local restaurant is expanding with significantly more kitchen space and seating. More room, more flavor, same heart.
Now open at Duna, giving residents and visitors easy access to everyday essentials.
Furthermore, the first modular cabin has been built, paving the way for the upcoming Beta Village development. A Security Training Academy has also been approved and is moving into the execution phase. Meanwhile, landscaping improvements across the Dome area and other zones are underway, adding to the visual appeal and livability of the community.
On the connectivity front, a new CIVL Pod Studio has opened — a professional podcasting and recording space available to the community and visitors starting at $85 per hour. And for media creators, the RTB Creative Studio has launched as Roatan's first full-service creative agency, offering video production, branding, website creation, social media management, and more — all powered by local and international talent.
The Clubs at Pristine Bay kicked off February with a Valentine's Day culinary experience featuring a new chef. The evening sold out, and guest feedback on food and service was outstanding. A rebranding is currently underway to bring a renewed vision centered around wellness, community, and elevated island living — a formal announcement is expected soon.
On the sports front, The Black Pearl now hosts a golf academy for those who'd like to learn.
The Prospera tech team provided knowledge and support to the utilities team by giving the utilities portal a significant refresh, including Stripe-powered payments that eliminate several manual processes for residents.
New improvements make it faster and simpler for companies to verify and get started in the jurisdiction. And a new "Statement of Domestication" feature streamlines the process for businesses relocating their corporate domicile to the jurisdiction.
Wohlstand, the community's security and services company, is incorporating Bitcoin into its operations and has begun hosting Bitcoin education sessions with Amity Age for employees and the broader community. The initiative aims to help people understand how Bitcoin works as a tool for savings and financial planning. More sessions are being planned — everyone is welcome to attend.
Prospera's security department reports no incidents this month and continues to maintain strong cooperation with local authorities. A major milestone: the first meeting of the Volunteer Emergency Response Team (covering both emergency and medical response) saw strong engagement from community members, fostering a culture of local resilience.
Liberty Line boat shuttles are fully operational, improving daily connectivity for residents. The water taxi follows the same schedule as the shuttle, for a direct drop-off in Pristine in a unique Caribbean experience.
On the connectivity front, flight visibility from San Pedro Sula to Roatan has been improved on Google Flights through CM Airlines, revealing surprisingly convenient connections for visitors coming from the US, Europe and Latin America.
