June 2026
From packed chessboards at the Infinita Dome to Próspera stepping onto the global stage in Panama, June brought people, ideas, and new experiences together, closing the first half of 2026 on a high note.
Players and families from across Honduras and the region came together at the Infinita Dome for the first Próspera Chess Cup.
Participants traveled from San Pedro Sula, Intibucá, Copán, and beyond to compete in categories ranging from Under 14 to aspiring masters. Held under FIDE regulations, the tournament followed an 11-round Swiss system with a 3+2 time control.
From unrated players to national champions, the event brought together different generations through a shared love of chess.
More than a tournament, it became a gathering of families, educators, community members, and players committed to helping the sport grow.
Congratulations to every winner and participant. We hope this experience inspires many more to keep learning, competing, and enjoying the game.
“As a family, we were delighted to attend another event organized by Próspera. The facilities were very accessible, and the level of competition was strong. Being able to share the chessboard with my husband and son is always an experience we deeply enjoy.”
The sunset, the music, and an entire community dressed in white.
The first edition of The White Affair brought people together at the Pristine Club for an evening of cocktails, dancing, laughter, and new connections. Everything unfolded naturally, turning the celebration into more than an event. It became one of those unforgettable Roatán nights people continue talking about the next day.
Thank you to everyone who dressed up, showed up, and made the evening what it was.
We'll see you at the next edition.
As a sponsor of the III Ibero-American Tourism Forum, Próspera joined business leaders, public-sector representatives, international organizations, and experts from across Ibero-America to discuss the future of tourism, technology, and territorial development.
Held in San Pedro Sula under the theme Technology and Development: Intelligence That Empowers Territories, the forum opened space for conversations on innovation, sustainability, investment, competitiveness, and the role of technology in building stronger destinations.
We're proud to take part in conversations that introduce new ideas, strengthen regional partnerships, and contribute to a more dynamic environment for investment, innovation, and economic growth in Honduras and across the region.
Próspera took part in the 12th World FZO Annual Congress in Panama City, one of the world's leading gatherings for special economic zones, policymakers, investors, and global business leaders.
The Próspera delegation was led by Founder and CEO Erick A. Brimen, alongside Omar Ynzenga, Founder of Instituto Istmo 2050, Jorge Colindres, Technical Secretary-General of Próspera ZEDE, and Gabriel Delgado, Próspera board member.
The delegation attended the official opening alongside José Raúl Mulino, President of Panama; Luis Abinader, President of the Dominican Republic; Julio Moltó, Panama's Minister of Commerce and Industries; Mohammed Al Zarooni, Chairman of the World Free Zones Organization; and other international leaders.
The central conversation reflected a principle Próspera has spent years putting into practice: the next era of global competition will not be won through incentives alone, but through guarantees.
Reliable legal frameworks. Enforceable contracts. Rules designed to outlast political cycles.
These are the conditions that allow capital and talent to stay long enough to create lasting value, and they are increasingly becoming the real foundation of global competitiveness.

Between sunsets, workshops, tours, classes, and shared experiences, life on the ground continues to grow. Building something meaningful is even better when it happens alongside people who support one another, exchange ideas, and enjoy the journey.
Thank you to every resident, builder, visitor, and community member who brings Próspera to life each day.
Until the next edition. 🌸💗
