Growing Presence

Próspera continues to strengthen its national and international presence. We've partnered with the Universidad Tecnológica de Honduras (UTH) to launch ACTIVAD@S: Dale Start a tu Idea, a national entrepreneurship competition for students across the country, challenging them to turn their ideas into real ventures, with seed capital and training to get them there. It's a reflection of our commitment to fostering economic opportunity and entrepreneurial spirit throughout Honduras.

On the international front, our team traveled to Miami as featured speakers at the Miami Economic Forum, where they joined over 300 city officials, investors, and business leaders, including the Mayor of Miami. Discussions spanned finance, investment, technology, aerospace, and international partnerships, reflecting growing institutional engagement with the Próspera model.

03 — Innovation & Science

Gaining Momentum

Klotho is a protein the body produces naturally, and one of the most studied markers of healthy aging in science. Linked to stronger hearts, sharper minds, and longer life, its levels decline with age. Klothea Bio, a Miami-based biotech and XPRIZE Healthspan semifinalist, is developing an mRNA-based therapy designed to prompt the body's own cells to produce more of it.

They've just launched a clinical study in Próspera. Because Klotho is naturally occurring, the approach centers on restoration rather than intervention. And since the body processes and clears mRNA naturally, this study isn't establishing safety from scratch; it's documenting it with the scientific rigor the approach deserves.

The trial is enrolling 21 healthy adult volunteers between 25 and 75 who are choosing to travel to Roatán to participate. Fully randomized, double-blind, and placebo-controlled, it will track inflammation, cardiovascular function, sleep quality, metabolic health, and more. This is exactly the kind of thoughtful science Próspera was built to make possible.

04 — Lump Sum Tax Program

Built for Nomads

For globally mobile professionals who've legally exited their home country's tax system, finding legitimate tax residency that fits how they actually live is genuinely hard. Próspera's new Lump-Sum Tax Program was built for exactly that gap: a flat $5,000/year covering all income taxes under Próspera's Tax Statute, with an officially issued Tax Residency Certificate backed by a real legal framework.

The program is designed for people who are already tax-compliant and need a clear, stable residency structure. U.S. citizens are excluded given citizenship-based taxation rules, and participants must establish a business entity in Próspera's registry and complete a minimum seven-day annual visit, adding real economic substance to their residency. Comparable programs globally start at $25,000–$100,000+, so the accessibility is notable, but the foundation is the same: transparency and legal clarity. Learn more at nomadlayer.com

05 — Legal

Justice, Reimagined

The Próspera Arbitration Center (PAC) is one of the most compelling things about living and doing business here. As the official default dispute resolution provider for the ZEDE, it gives every resident and business access to fast, fair arbitration without the years-long backlog of traditional courts. Cases are heard in English or Spanish under Próspera's common law framework, decided by a panel of former supreme court and appellate judges. Awards are enforceable internationally under the New York and Panama Conventions.

It's a system built for the real world: transparent fees, an advanced online platform, and arbiters selected for both expertise and impartiality. Contract disputes, labor matters, negligence claims — there's a clear and credible process for all of it.

And if you're still wondering whether the PAC truly operates independently, in at least one decided case, a Próspera-affiliated business was found liable and ordered to pay because the evidence said so. That's what rule of law actually looks like.

07 — Events Recap

The Greek Festival

The Greek Festival was a huge success. The Greek Ambassador to Honduras joined us alongside distinguished guests from the Greek Latin American community, engaging with what we're building here in Próspera. Good food, great people, and even better conversations about the future. It was a blast, and we're already looking forward to the next one.

Next year's festival is already in the works, and it's getting an upgrade: vendor booths open to the community. Interested in joining? Get in touch with the organizers!
