TEDx came to Roatán. The first Próspera chocolate was unveiled. A podcast launched with Tim Urban. May was a month of firsts — the kind that quietly raise the floor on what comes next.
Próspera was proud to host the first edition of TEDx Roatán: an afternoon where local and international voices shared a single stage, and where ideas that move the world found a home on the island.
From living a life of purpose to building on other planets, Mosaic Roatán wove together science, philosophy, architecture, health, and human development. The conversations that matter, the ones reshaping how we live, work, and govern, are increasingly happening here. We were honored to open the space for them, and we hope this is the first of many editions to come.
The Builders' Bar: A New World Cacao Tasting marked the launch of the first chocolate collection under the Próspera label, created in collaboration with Honduran brand Avenida Cacao.
The event brought together residents, entrepreneurs, and community members for a sensory experience centered on Honduran cacao — a celebration of its global potential without losing its local identity.

The packaging itself pays tribute to Roatán and to Próspera's distinctive architecture.
Founded in San Pedro Sula in 2017 by Allen Eduardo González, Avenida Cacao has grown into a brand with more than 30 chocolate varieties, championing the transformation of cacao within Honduras.
The collaboration reflects a shared vision: to elevate Honduran products to international quality, strengthen local partnerships, and show how innovation, design, and origin can create new opportunities, from Próspera to the world.
At the Roatán Inspira: Honduras Leads forum, Anabel Gallardo, President of COHEP, highlighted the strategic role of tourism as an engine of growth for Honduras.
She reminded attendees that the industry generates jobs, foreign currency, and opportunity for thousands of families, while sustaining the MIPYMEs that drive so much of the national economy.
Her message was clear: continued progress requires shared vision, modern infrastructure, legal certainty, and partnership between the private sector and institutions. “When tourism grows, Honduras grows.”

Próspera carried Honduras's vision to the global stage at the SovAI Summit 2026, the first international summit on sovereign AI, held in El Salvador.

At the Milken Institute Global Conference in Los Angeles, Próspera hosted an intimate dinner led by Founder and CEO Erick Brimen, focused on the next frontier of economic opportunity in the Americas.
The gathering brought together angel investors, family offices, and venture funds to explore Próspera's growth, the unique legal and business environment in Roatán, and the emerging investment opportunities taking shape across the zone and its portfolio companies.
Próspera is exploring the launch of the world's first AI agent sandbox, allowing agents to incorporate companies, pay taxes, and, over time, acquire an increasing degree of legal personality.
We hosted a town hall, demo, and Q&A to walk through what we're building. We started with a live demo of our agent API keys, shared the roadmap, and opened the floor for feedback.
